Tier points are Upoints that are earned on eligible spend and will be used to calculate your tier status only. This will appear in the form of a tier status and is calculated on the Upoints earned in the last 12 months. Tier points cannot be used for reward redemptions. Upoints earned on eligible spend will also appear as your Points Balance and can be used for redemptions. Every time a redemption is made, your available points balance will reduce. Upoints are only valid for 24 months, upon which these will expire. Therefore, Upoints earned will be used to calculate your tier status and will also be topped on to your account as available Upoints balance.
